IT and Digital Enterprise Architecture Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to empower Vår Energi to achieve their business strategy through adopting digital solutions  in Vår Energi. The ideal candidate will have a strong value focus and a background within oil & gas, with expertise in digital technologies and their application across the whole valuechain. 

Main Tasks

• Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and IT strategies
• Provide architectural guidance for technology roadmaps, ensuring they align with future business growth and technology advancements
• Lead architectural governance, ensuring that IT projects comply with established standards and architectural frameworks
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and tools that align with the enterprise architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select, implement, and integrate systems and applications that enhance operational efficiency and scalability
• Design end-to-end IT solutions that are flexible, scalable, and secure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consider appropriate disaster recovery and business continuity
• Ensure systems are integrated effectively across the enterprise, allowing for seamless data flow and interoperability
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale technology implementations
• Work closely with business leaders and IT teams to translate business requirements into architectural designs
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities
• Establish and maintain IT architectural principles, standards, and frameworks to guide the development of technology solutions
• Lead architecture review boards and provide oversight on design decisions, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards
• Identify architectural risks related to IT systems and provide mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that the architecture is secure and compliant with industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, and technology strategy
• Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies, digital transformation initiatives and cloud adoption strategies
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing, IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid architectures
• Strong knowledge of networking, storage, databases, middleware, and cybersecurity
• Ability to manage and resolve technical risks in large-scale IT implementations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
