Principal Collaboration Platform Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 (M365) DevOps solutions. You will act as the key liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that our M365 and DevOps initiatives meet business goals, customer needs, and technical requirements.

Main tasks

  • Ensure a relevant and fit for purpose governance of the M365 platform
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for M365 and DevOps tools and solutions
  • Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and improvements
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, communicating the product vision clearly to the team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business leaders, users, and IT teams to gather requirements and feedback
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and reflects the latest business needs
  • Translate high-level business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring clarity for the development team
  • Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master and development team during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
  • Monitor and optimize the use of M365 and DevOps tools for enhanced team productivity and security
  • Oversee the integration, customization, and optimization of M365 applications (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform) to meet organizational needs
  • Work with security teams to ensure M365 solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Track and manage M365 licenses, user adoption, and performance analytics
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and track progress against them and  report on the status of development, including risks, issues, and progress towards milestones
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform
  • Experience in DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation
  • Microsoft 365 Certified, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or other relevant certifications are a plus
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to track KPIs and optimize product performance
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting, Azure, or other cloud-based services
