Process & Flow Assurance Manager

About the position

We are seeking a Process & Flow Assurance Manager. The successful candidate will be Resource manager for the Process and Flow Assurance engineers and responsible for improvement work within competence area in Vår Energi. The department holds all resources within this competence area and serves the entire company. The position reports to VP Facilities Excellence.

Main tasks

Drive improvements, new ways of working and allocate resources to task owners, develop people and teams to reach their full potential:

• Develop resource- and competence workforce plans in accordance with business needs
• Develop people and team’s capabilities within competence area including individual and discipline development plans
• Develop discipline competence, capabilities and ways of working
• Allocate resources across Vår Energi in line with strategic priorities, task requirements and development needs
• Vår Energi formal employer responsibilities 
• Manage cost / budget related to competence and ways of working
• Development and management of assigned Professional Excellence roles
• Drive and support improvement agenda with area of responsibility
• Develop and maintain best practices and processes
• Ensure learning and coordination across functions 
• Coordinating and follow-up relevant strategic initiatives
• Coordinating relevant risk and quality process
• Coordinating relevant performance and improvement initiatives
• Perform business relevant analysis and benchmarking 
• Contribute to development and maintenance of relevant management processes, framework and procedures in VEMS (Vår Energi Management System)
• Manage strategic contracts where applicable
• Responsible for recruitment processes within area of responsibility

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Master within process and flow assurance
• Experience: + 10 years’ experience from the industry
• Language: English
