About us

We are looking for a strategic and operational leader to become our Procurement Manager for our Supply Chain Management department with responsibility for procurement activities supporting Operations & Business Support deliveries. 

This position is designed to enhance strategic support to the following business units in Vår Energi: Production, Safety & Sustainability and People, Communication & IT & Digital. 

Main tasks

  • Define priorities and manage the team in line with SCM ambition and strategy, supporting the relevant business units’ needs 
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business units’ goals 
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to define procurement plans and contract strategies 
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance and drive supplier engagement through annual planning and follow-up cycles. 
  • Lead and develop a team of procurement specialists, and foster a good working environment 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Finance)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven track record in procurement, contract management, and supplier negotiations
  • Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking
  • Strong leadership capabilities
